Instructions
Step 1
Brown Premium Harvey Beef Mince in a pan, breaking it up. Drain excess liquid.
Step 2
Push beef to one side and add a little oil. When hot, add rendang paste, cook until fragrant and deep in colour.
Step 3
Stir in coconut cream and simmer until thick and rich. Cool completely.
Step 4
Cut pastry to line muffin tins or pie moulds.
Step 5
Fill with cooled rendang mixture.
Step 6
Top with pastry lids, seal edges and brush with egg.
Step 7
Cook in a pie maker* until hot, golden and puffed.
Step 8
Rest slightly, then serve warm.
*If you don’t have a pie maker, preheat your oven to 180c (Fan Forced). Create pies in muffin trays or small pie pans and bake until golden and crispy.
