Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 150°C
Step 2
In a lined roasting dish, add brisket and all extra marinade along with extra fat and stock.
Step 3
Cover tightly with foil and bake 4 hours.
Step 4
Turn and baste halfway and add more liquid if necessary.
Step 5
Cook until the brisket is very tender and allow to rest for 20 minutes in the liquid before using forks to shred the brisket.
Loaded Sweet Potatoes
Step 1
Roast sweet potatoes in their jackets until tender (200°C for 30-45 mins, size depending).
Step 2
Split cooked sweet potatoes about to about half the depth along the length and open them up a bit.
Step 3
Add cheddar cheese into the split sweet potato and continue to cook until the cheese has melted.
Step 4
Top the cheesy sweet potatoes loaded with Harvey Beef Smokey American Brisket and sour cream.
Step 5
Garnish with any of the suggested ingredients.
