Head 140km down south from Perth and you’ll find us in the farming town of Harvey. Proudly owned by a sixth generation W.A. farming family, we work in partnership with a community of handpicked local farmers who share our commitment to sustainability, animal welfare and exceptional produce to create beef with a delicious taste and unique character.
A hundred years on from our humble beginnings, we’re appreciated by chefs and lovers of good food around the world, just as much as in our W.A. heartland.

We demonstrate the highest standard of environmental performance that complies with or exceeds the relevant domestic and international environmental legislation. As a leading corporate citizen, we make environmental accountability a key priority.
We also work tirelessly to ensure we comply with or exceed all animal welfare standards, particularly in relation to the five freedoms that underpin animal welfare. We also work with the broader community to improve sustainability in beef production. All of our beef has no added hormones.
Harvey Beef continually reviews its strict quality assurance and HACCP program throughout the supply chain.
We are subject to inspection and monitoring of product, processes, plant and equipment by our own departmental supervisors and quality assurance staff. This process is regularly reviewed by the Australian Department of Agriculture and Water Resources (DAWR), AUS-MEAT, Meat Standards Australia and other regulatory bodies.
In addition to maintaining an AUS-MEAT A+ accredited rating, Harvey Beef is independently certified by numerous private operators specialising in the retail and food service sector.
We are committed to the highest standards of animal welfare and are part of the Australian Animal Welfare Certification System (AAWCS). This livestock welfare certified system represents that our livestock processing establishment complies with the Australian livestock processing industry welfare certification system – an independently certified animal welfare system that ensures livestock under our control from receival to humane processing are managed in accordance with best practice animal welfare standards.
