Company History
The history of Western Australia's largest beef producer dates back to 1919.
The location of Harvey Beef in the lush, rolling foothills of the Darling Range just 3km from the township of Harvey was well chosen and the business grew to become WA's largest exporter of beef, with its world class export produce gaining legendary status.
A large state-of-the-art processing facility was built on a 190ha site and this was operated as a family business until 2005. In early 2006, the production facilities and Harvey Beef came under the control of Harvey Industries Group Pty Ltd which is owned by international private equity firm Harmony Capital Management.
