MSA BEEF GRADER/CHILLER ASSESSOR

Harvey Beef is currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as MSA Grader/Chiller Assessor on site at the Harvey plant. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality beef products. THE ROLE

• Responsible for thoroughly assessing and grading each carcass according to MSA Grader criteria
• Chiller assess all eligible carcasses using the AUS-MEAT Chiller Assessment
• Adjusting chiller temperatures, fan speeds and spray chill during the chilling process
• Maintaining accurate records and reports on all grading and chilling activities
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures related to food safety and quality
• Quartering all carcasses

SELECTION CRITERIA

• AUS-Meat accreditation is highly regarded but not essential
• Experience working in meat industry is preferred
• Understand and comply with Workplace Health and Safety standards
• Efficiently collaborate and perform well in a dynamic team setting with minimal supervision
